They were Americans from Massachusetts, New England. Simply delightful. The man asked for how long I had been doing this work? I do not know for sure the effect it had on them to hear over 40 years, but a kind smile appeared on both faces. The lady chose a pair of earrings. Anna and I prepared the little package and they were off to continue their day in Orvieto. Knowing that something you did with your hands will travel with the person you met is just very, very pleasant. Thank you to both of them for this very special moment.
